
Maria Vladimirovna Vishnyak was born in Pyatigorsk town in the family of the artist Vladimir Dmitrievich Vishnyak.
Completed Children art school in Mineralnye Vody town.
In 1973-1978 studied in Moscow V.I.Surikov's art secondary school attached to the Academy of Arts.
In 1978-1984 studied in V.I.Surikov's Institute of exceptional artist and pedagogue Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov's portrait studio.
From 1982 to 1991 taught in V.I.Surikov's art lyceum.
Personal exhibitions took place from 1989 in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novgorod, New York, Tokyo, Luxembourg, Deli, Washington and other cities all over the world.
M.V.Vishnyak works are presented at private collections and museums worldwide. Selected works were presented to private collections of V.V.Putin and Patriarch Alexiy II.
Member of the Union of Russian Painters.
Married, has four children. Lives and works in Moscow.
